Sarah Roye (programs@kentpta.org)   Tuesday, October 23 from 6-8:00 pm red ribbon splash

This month we celebrate Red Ribbon Week to help our children learn about making healthy choices and living a drug free life.

We have a lot going on during Red Ribbon Week, but Tuesday, October 23th is the BIG Night where we celebrate family and good friends, the best tools we have against drug abuse.

At Family Fun Night we will be celebrating the 50th Day of School with a 50's style Sock Hop in the Gym. We have a Bounce House donated by Kent parent Minerva Gomez. Music will be provided by DJ , Matt Sharp and our friends from First Choice Emergency Room will be joining in the fun. So, roll up your jeans or put on your poodle skirt, and join us in the Bunny Hop!

Bring your picnic dinner to the cafeteria where tables will be set up for your use; then, join us for BINGO from 6:30 - 7:30. There will be lots of prizes for the kids.

Thank you to Conway Trucking for our red ribbons!

Going, Going Gone! We are holding our 5th Annual Silent Auction to benefit the Student Activity Fund. Come prepared to bid on lots of cool stuff!

And last, but not least, be sure you stop by the Scholastic Book Fair in the Volunteer Room. We will have a great selection of books to get your children "Hooked on Books" at the Book Fair Blizzard.

If you are interested in volunteering for any of these activities or have donations for the Silent Auction or Red Ribbon Week please contact the following committee chairs:
